Investment Banking
Bulgarian American Credit Bank is a licensed securities broker (FSC license Р-05-36/19.02.2003г., BNB approval РД22-1202/29.11.02). The Bank trades in securities, provides investment advisory services, manages client portfolios (except portfolios of investment companies and pension funds), underwrites bond and stock offerings and offers depository services.
In 2001 the Bank structured and issued the first mortgage bond issue in Bulgaria.
In 2004 BACB did the first commercial loan securitization in Bulgaria through Kapital Direct 1 ADSIP. This allowed Bulgarian institution investors to invest in the credit risk of Black See hotels, collateralized with first mortgage on a hotel.
In 2005 the Bank and Enterprise Realty Group, a member of the Bulgarian American Enterprise Fund's group, did the first large securitization of commercial real estate in Bulgaria through ERG Capital 1 ADSIP – the Praktiker hypermarket on Tzarigradsko Shouse and the Oriflame center on G.M.Dimitrov Boulevard.
In 2006 BACN and Enterprise Realty Group did a second securitization of commercial real estate through ERG Capital -2 ADSIP - commercial center "Cherno more" in Varna with major tenants Praktiker and Piccadilly (a successful local food chain).
In 2007 the Bank and Enterprise Realty Group listed ERG Capital - 3 ADSIP.
