Notification of Changes to the General Terms and Conditions for Payment Processing via Real and Virtual POS Terminals, effective as of 01 January 2026
Dear Customers,
We hereby inform you that, as of 01 January 2026, amendments to the following documents will enter into force:
- General Terms and Conditions for Payment Processing with Domestic and International Cards via a Physical POS Terminal; and
- General Terms and Conditions for Payment Processing with Domestic and International Cards via a Virtual POS Terminal.
The main amendments are related to the forthcoming introduction of the euro as the official currency of the Republic of Bulgaria and concern the replacement of the currency “lev” with the currency “euro”, as well as a change in the amount of the fee payable by the customer for a POS terminal not returned after termination of the contract, from BGN 50 to EUR 50.
