On 22 April 2021, an increase in the capital of Tixi Ad, a technology company, was registered with the Commercial Register. Bulgarian American Credit Bank AD invests in the company by subscribing shares from the increase and acquiring 6.25% of the company's capital. The deal is part of a strategy to invest in companies related to the digital economy and sustainable urban development, and to transform BACB into a high-tech financial institution.

Tixi AD creates technological solutions for intelligent transport systems and electronic payments. The main focus of the company is in the development of integrated solutions for "smart" cities. The portfolio of Tixi AD includes software products and infrastructure solutions in the field of smart transport, part of which comprise a platform for e-ticket issuance and validation, a traffic management and control system, applications for purchasing e-tickets and cards, a system for parking management in urban environments, solutions for electronic services of municipalities. The largest projects in which the company has participated over the years include the automatic system for public transport electronic charging in Sofia, development of applications for parking and integration with mobile operators, a platform for online ticket sales on Bulgarian State Railways, an automated ticketing system in Ruse, public transport control in Dupnitsa and many more.
