As of 12:00 a.m. on 1 January 2026, all cards, POS terminals, and ATMs operate with the new currency. After the update, only euros can be withdrawn from ATMs.

At the Bank’s ATMs with deposit functionality, only Bulgarian leva (BGN) can be deposited until 31 January 2026. The gradual transition to accepting euros will begin in the first days of February 2026.

Access to the remote banking platform (BACB Online / BACB Mobile) has been restored with full functionality of the offered services.

We would like to remind you that the Bank’s Contact Center will also be operating on 03 January 2026 until 3:00 p.m.
