Regarding the inquiries, concerning the provision of services, related to "virtual currencies", we would like to let you know that at present BACB AD refrains from establishing business relations with companies, operating with “virtual currencies”, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin etc.  Until proper clarification of the legal framework, regulating their functioning, BACB AD will not perform any payment operations, involving purchases or sales of "virtual currencies".

A "virtual currency" is a type of non-regulated digital money, which is not issued or guaranteed by any central bank, but can be used for exchange on various platforms. The activities, related to the acquisition, trading and payments with "virtual currencies" are not regulated by the current legislation and are not subject to any licensing or registration. Therefore, the rights of the consumers, using such instruments, are not protected by any legal means.
