Information about fraudulent emails sent on behalf of BACB AD

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you about an increase in fraudulent email attacks sent from an address imitating the official email of BACB AD – BACB Online (support.bacb.online.notification@jerifa.life).

The message claims that, due to a “planned technical update,” you must update your profile on the online banking platform within a specified deadline by following a provided link. This link redirects to a fake website that imitates the content of BACB Online.

BACB AD does NOT send emails requesting profile updates from its customers.

When logging into internet banking, please remain vigilant and do not follow links other than the official BACB website. The login buttons for online banking are located in the top right corner of the page.

Please type the address manually and do not use search engines.

You can verify the legitimacy of the Bank’s website by clicking on the padlock icon -> “Connection is secure” -> “Certificate is valid” -> “Issued to: Bulgarian-American Credit Bank AD”.

Please also check that the content of the SMS codes you receive for online banking corresponds to the action being performed (login, transfer confirmation). Always verify the amounts and recipients of any transfers.

If you suspect unauthorized access, please notify the Bank immediately at: onlinebanking@bacb.bg

Kind regards,
The BACB Team
