Version Firefox 33.0 of Mozilla Foundation is released without the option for digital signing of documents

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that in its new version 33.0 of the browser Mozilla Firefox the company has removed the possibility for digital signing of documents. This, on the other hand, leads to problems while signing documents with qualified electronic signature in the virtual bank BACB Plus when working with this particular version of the browser.

At the attempt of signing document using Firefox 33.0 and pressing the OK button, a notification will appear on the screen that the order cannot be signed. This pop up window should be closed by pressing the OK button and it is possible a new notification to appear on the screen – for invalid certificate. Please take into consideration that this does not mean that the certificate is really invalid. You should close the pop up window by pressing the OK button.

The system will bring you back to the standard screen which appears after saving a payment order.
The order that you just made was saved and could be reviewed in the “Pending payments” section where you could also sign and send it for execution.

In order to sign document in the virtual bank BACB Plus you should use one of the following:

  •  one-time password generated by display card (you should first select it as an active authorization device from Change your authorization device menu in Settings)
  •  MS Internet Explorer browser
  •  Older versions of browser Mozilla Firefox, lower than 33.0

It was announced by Mozilla Foundation that they will prepare a fix which to recover the removed functionality, for which change we will inform you accordingly.

In case you would like to use Mozilla Firefox, after installing the older version (up to 32.0) you should choose the option "Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them" from menu Tools > Options > Advanced > Update so that you skip the automatic update of the browser up to 33rd version.
